Find Your Love (New Drake Single)

New Drake single, Find Your Love! Feeling it or nah? In my opinion, it's gonna catch on very quickly, and although it's probably not gonna be the best song on his new album, it will def be one of those songs that you're gonna see the masses singing @ a party! For the people who don't like the song, I could see how you don't like it. It's a love, hate thing with the song so I'm on both sides of the fence about it. Anywho, it was produced by Kanye for his 808's and Heartbreak album, but it didn't make the final cut for his album. So Drake took it. Why not!?! Respect how he took a leftover beat and essentially has a hit on hand. I guarantee that if you give it a few listens it will stick with you. The only thing that would make the song harder is to add another voice on the song, either singer or rapper.... Btw, enjoy the warm weather this weekend! See ya'll out there...

A Guide to a Dope Playlist!

Top of the day folks. Been rockin out to some new music, but honestly, there are some staples that will always be on rotation on my ipod. In no particular order, I announce to you, the dope man's playlist part A! Lol. Strictly a chill playlist, but my next group will switch it up! And sidebar, I tip my hat to the Bulls..smh. They did real well against the Cav's, but Lebron started beastin at the end of the game. Calls against the Bulls were a little shaky, but that's what you can expect with homecourt advantage. Surround Soundz Blend Mix..Partake!

If you ever had a question with whether or not music is all tied in, we're gonna prove it. Alot of the very instruments, drums, tempo, style within deep house, brazilian drum, soca, kompa, etc, are very similar. A tempo with a BPM around 126 usually keeps the mood of the music uptempo, and when it comes to a party, keeps it moving. Here's a mix we've put together, a blend of soca, soulful house, and brazilian drum. We enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too. Partake, surround soundz style! Stay dope! Mirror Dance (Remix)! Be Informed...

Ever heard of Oveous Maximus? If you haven't, no sweat, we didn't either, but be aware, homey has a good thing going. First heard him on a song with a cd with no label, so i had NO clue who it was, but just stumbled upon it this past week. The name of the song is Mirror Dance by Afefe Iku, a HIGHLY deep soulful house song. So many drums and layers to a song that can def keep a party moving...To add to the dopeness, Oveous did a remix with a spoken word segment on it and it just took the song to another level. So shout out to him and be on the look out for his music.. Just thought you should be informed! Here's the blog. Enjoy!

Nas x Damian Marley... New Album.."Distant Relatives"... Set to be Released sometime in May 2010.. Good Energy.. Tour Dates already confirmed... Coming to Brooklyn... July 31st.. Williamsburg Waterfront... DEFINITELY goinig to be popping... Now that we got those scattered thoughts out the way, be prepared to vibe out to a pretty powerful collaboration between classic hip hop, concious vibes, and dancehall. This isn't the first time that they have put their talents to use in the song "Road to Zion", from Damian's most recent album... Moving forward, the fusion should prove to be interesting, not to mention the fact that their show is DEFINITELY gonna be dope. Ever seen the Williamsburg Waterfront?
